Time Out says

Designed and built in the 1980s by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones, this 6,419-yard, par 71 course is surrounded by nature and offers views over the sea and the Serra da Sintra. The course is varied and requires skill and many of the clubs in your bag. It has some legendary holes, including the par-4 third hole overlooking the Atlantic, and the par-5 18th with its two lakes, which demands your best shot. The Trent Jones bar, which overlooks the course and the swimming pool, is the perfect place for a post-round drink or a typical Portuguese light meal.
