Evita

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical Evita comes to Casino Estoril in a Yellow Star Company production directed by Paulo Sousa Costa. The rock opera charts Eva Perón’s rise and fall, following her journey from ambitious young woman to First Lady of Argentina. Sung entirely in Portuguese, it stars Sofia Escobar as Eva Perón and Diogo Morgado as Che, the narrative’s critical voice. The principal cast also includes Diogo de Carvalho as Perón and Ricardo Soler as Magaldi.
