Estoril Classics returns in 2026 for its 10th edition, consolidating its position as the biggest classic car event in southern Europe. Estoril Autodrome hosts a programme that brings together races, demonstrations and a unique gathering of drivers, collectors and fans.
What is Estoril Classics?
Created in 2017, Estoril Classics is considered the biggest classic car event in southern Europe. It brings together hundreds of historic vehicles and prestigious international competitions, making it an unmissable stop for motorsport lovers. As well as races on the circuit, the event strengthens the Cascais region’s profile among gentleman drivers and includes themed exhibition areas and a Food & Brand Village.
When is it happening?
In 2026, the event takes place from 18 to 20 September, Friday to Sunday.
And where?
The action takes place at Circuito do Estoril, also known as Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva, on Avenida Alfredo César Torres, in Alcabideche, Cascais. Visitors with paddock access can follow the teams in their individual tents, while general admission visitors can use the main straight grandstand.
What is the theme of this edition?
The 10th edition celebrates the great memories of world motorsport, bringing together four of the most emblematic historic racing disciplines: Formula 1, Sports Cars, GTs and Touring Cars, as well as a special exhibition featuring Grand Prix cars from the 1990s and a motorbike race.
What competitions are on the programme?
The official programme includes several international historic racing categories:
Classic GP (Pre-1986 F1 Cars): classic Formula 1 single-seaters.
Classic Endurance Racing 1 & 2: endurance prototypes and Sports Cars.
Endurance Racing Legends 1 & 2 (LMP & GT1 / GT2): more recent endurance racing cars.
Sixties’ Endurance & 2.0 Litre Cup: 1960s cars and two-litre Porsche 911s.
Heritage Touring Cup 1 & Iberian Historic Endurance: historic touring cars and Iberian competition.
The Gentlemen Challenge: racing cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
Are there still tickets?
Yes. Entry to the main straight grandstand is free and does not require a ticket. For paddock access, tickets can be purchased online or at the on-site ticket office, subject to capacity:
Weekend Pass (3 days): €65
Friday (18/09): €20
Saturday (19/09): €40
Sunday (20/09): €40
Children and young people: free paddock entry up to and including the age of 15, when accompanied by an adult ticket holder, with a maximum of two children per adult. Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at the on-site accreditation centre.
Will there be traffic restrictions?
Traffic will be restricted on 19 and 20 September, Saturday and Sunday. The main access to the Autodrome will be exclusively via the IC16 junction, heading north-south on Avenida César Torres.
Should you drive there?
The organisation recommends prioritising public transport – bus routes 17, 18, 20 and 1623 – or parking nearby. Parking at the Autodrome is very limited, and access to on-site parking is reserved for one-day or three-day pass holders, on a first-come, first-served basis. Angled parking will also be allowed along Avenida César Torres.

2.10pm-2.40pm: Track break.
2.40pm-7.55pm: Qualifying and practice sessions for Classic GP, ERL 1, ERL 2, Classic Endurance Racing 1, Sixties’ Endurance and 2.0 Litre Cup.
Saturday 19 September
9am-12.10pm: Qualifying sessions for Classic Endurance Racing 2, 2.0 Litre Cup, HTC 1 and Iberian Historic Endurance.
12.10pm-12.40pm: Track break.
12.40pm-9pm: Race 1 sessions for The Gentlemen Challenge, ERL 1, Classic GP, ERL 2, Sixties’ Endurance and 2.0 Litre Cup.
Sunday 20 September
9.10am-1.30pm: Races for Classic Endurance Racing 2, ERL 1 Race 2, Heritage Touring Cup 1 and The Gentlemen Challenge.
1.30pm-2pm: Track break.
2pm-5.45pm: Race 2 sessions and finals for Classic GP, ERL 2, Classic Endurance Racing 1 and Iberian Historic Endurance.
