Eighth Blackbird

The Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy celebrates 60 years of supporting Chicago musicians, presenting a performance by contemporary ensemble Eighth Blackbird. Joined by tenor Karim Sulayaman, poet J. Ivy and singer-songwriter Tarrey Torae, the group will tackle a program that includes music by Andy Akiho, Amy Beth Kirsten, Gustavo Santaolalla, Fairouz and the world premiere of Pamela Z’s "Latency." This free concert is presented as part of the Millennium Park Summer Music Series.
