This chic Wicker Park shoe emporium is two stores in one. With Euro-styled Tsubo sneaks for men ($100) and pointy Fornarina heels ($130) for the ladies, City Soles skews toward a young art-party crowd. On the Niche side of the store, sky-high Costume National pumps ($455) are displayed alongside dainty Chie Mihara Mary Janes ($239) and hand-stitched oxfords ($225) by Cydwoq. Service is thorough, if a little overbearing; the too-helpful clerks pounce on shoppers the millisecond they’re through the door, but the shop’s annual nickel sale is worth the fuss.
