Some older adults and their families adjust to the changes of aging, while many others require assistance adapting to ability changes, chronic illnesses, and end of life issues. This conference provides professionals with knowledge about advanced directives, new guardianship rules, and palliative care and empowers them with the skills to assist older adults and their family members in making informed choices, preventing and easing suffering, and achieving the best quality of life.
