The Cleveland Lottery League Education Programming proudly presents the first ever presentation for this new series, "Band Business: A Panel Discussion".

A program designed to educate, inform and inspire, "Band Business" presents a panel discussion specifically developed for the industry of musicians who make up the local music scene. Unlike many other artists in different mediums, most rock club musicians did not go to a school to learn about being in a band. Unfortunately, many of these musicians spend years learning the value of time and opportunity on their own. This panel discussion will present different aspects of what it takes being in a band from the perspectives of the people involved in all facets of the industry, from venues, press, music distribution, tour managing and radio. Answering questions like; How do bands cross your radar? What are some of the mistakes bands make when marketing themselves? What is best way to get out music to ensure it's heard? What opportunities and funding exists that musicians might be unaware of? How can we make the Cleveland Music scene stronger? And so many more questions and ideas those who have made a career of it have found to be the most useful to them along the way.

This inspiring panel discussion series is the first of its kind and the first offfering from The Lottery League -Education Programming, and will be FREE to all at the Foster Theater at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Seating is limited, however, so please RSVP ( to ensure your ticket to the discussion.
