Forgotten Souls / C Town Gospel Singers / Bill Fox says
I know I used this as a post the other day announcing the show, but I think it sums it up pretty good. Hope to see you all there!

Holiday greetings my friends! I hope this season finds all of you healthy and well! I have been enjoying my time away from el Facebook for the last few months, but had to come back to tell everyone about the group we're playing with on December 26th at Yorktown Lanes (shameless? maybe, but I honestly want as many people to check these guys out as possible).
So as I'm sure a lot of you know I play on occasion with a gospel quartet of folks who do the ol' spirituals, and I personally think they do them quite well. Since the events they play are usually concerts at churches on the east side and most of y'all don't hang out around 79th and Central a whole lot I figure now is the perfect time to try and get the word out!
So I know a lot of you have seen the Forgotten Souls numerous times, and man do I ever appreciate the love that we get from everyone (seriously, it really is very cool!), so I'm not trying to push us on anyone for this one, but I would love to see everyone out at this one for the opener, which is the C-Town Gospel singers. Everyone who has stopped by the house in the last year has heard what I've been recording from this group and its always a super positive reaction. Plus we have Bill Fox performing as well, which is always a fantastic treat.
Anyways, December 26th at Yorktown, they'll be going on first me thinks, which is probably about 9 or 930. I'm going to throw a mix on a couple of these tunes and post them up online, update the event and invite everyone, and probably bug you all one more time before I disappear back into the Land Without a Personal Facebook Page (I still do FSoA stuff). Thanks for reading my little spiel, and if I don't see you have a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!
