High Heel Dance says
High Heels don't have to be intimidating.

In this class you'll learn the basics of properly walking in heels and take that all the way to catwalking with confidence.

This class also includes dance routines from the pole, to the chair, to the floor. Warm-up and cool down for the class will feature exercises to strengthen the muscles needed to provide stability in heels as well as stretches to balance the body after spending time in heels.

Bring your own heels. What kind of heels? Start low and work your way up. For example, if you feel very unstable in 2 inches then bring a 1 inch pair. Heels need to fit securely on your feet without sliding off when you walk or lift up your foot. Shoes with ankle straps are highly recommended. No spike or metal heels. Heels may get scuffed up and will show signs of wear with the dancing we will do. This is NOT the class to bring your treasured Louboutins. Heels made for dance (such as a latin ballroom shoe) are recommended but not required.

High Heels Dance runs in sessions with 2 weeks off and then starts up again. You can start any time. It doesn't need to be the beginning of a session. The debut session will be April 5 - May 10, 2016. We will take 2 weeks off and then a new session will begin May 31st.

This class is $15 per person with several membership options available.
