The Syndicate for The New Arts says
The Syndicate for the New Arts is proud to present Iceberg Tabular as part of their ongoing residency at St. John’s Ohio City.

Iceberg Tabular 1/10/14 is comprised of seven scenes directed by Anthony Zakharia set to seven arrangements by composer Coleman Zurkowski. Each scene contains a single, unbroken shot depicting the human form engaged in unexplained rituals and actions. The film is confident in its repetitive portrayal of ceremony, but does not provide the necessary context for an audience to escape without inquiry. The visual theme of the horizon acts as a stage for Iceberg’s divorcing music, dispassionate subjects, and overall stoic disposition.

Anthony Zakharia is a Cleveland-based filmmaker who works in experimental and traditional narrative film. He holds a degree in Film and Digital Media from Cleveland State University.
Coleman Zurkowski is a New York-based composer from Baltimore, Maryland who scores music for film, television, and commercials. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Composition from Depaul University and a Masters Degree in Music Composition and Sound Design from California Institute of the Arts. Zurkowski was also a selected resident composer for the Syros International Film Festival in Syros, Greece.
