Ken Schneck, host of This Show is So Gay and professor at Baldwin Wallace University, is recording his audio book in front of a live audience. All 5 sessions are FREE to attend. It's your chance to laugh, cry, and say you were there when this epic recording happened.

"Seriously, What Am I Doing Here: The Adventures of a Wondering and Wandering Gay Jew" will be released by 1984 Publishing in Spring 2017. This occasionally heart-breaking, often insightful and reliably-witty travelogue has at its core our universal search for meaning, our desperate need to grasp that elusive sense of place and community, and how we often fail to succeed but keep right on trying.

Ken's Summary of Part 2 - One summer, my marriage suddenly crumbled and I was adrift in the world. On a whim, I signed up to pedal Charity Treks: a 425 mile, 5-day bike ride from Montreal, Canada to Portland, Maine. The most I had ever pedaled was 30 miles over 3 days. This section delves into my mental state, my emotional (and physical) discomfort and my desperate attempt to find connections that would help ground me when I didn’t know who I was anymore. And, also, there was the part where I pedal 425 miles.
