Explore art of all sizes, from monumental photographs and tapestries to portrait miniatures and carved gems. Don’t miss your last chance to see "BIG: Photographs from the Collection", and enjoy music and drinks in the atrium.

Be sure to check out demos in the galleries and try your hand at drawing with a special MIX preview of Draw Together: A Big Draw Event (Oct. 9). Plus, explore geometry and scale with an Art@MIX activity led by Adam Brumma of ARTFUL.

Big Drawing 5:00 – 9:00
Help create a layered line drawing inspired by masterworks from the collection! Led by teaching artists Debbie Apple-Presser and Christie Klubnik.

Geometry of Scale 5:00 – 9:00
Fold and color paper to explore pattern and scale, inspired by the geometric patterns large and small in the Islamic galleries. Led by Adam Brumma of ARTFUL.

Drawing Demonstrations 6:30 – 8:30
Watch CMA staff and teaching artists demonstrate a variety of drawing techniques in the galleries.
