Cleveland Museum of Natural History says
Hollywood is known as the dream factory—the place where the best and brightest creative minds produce films that entertain, inspire and educate. But what happens when movie magic is made at the expense of scientific fact?

"Reel Science," a film series in partnership with Cleveland Cinemas, tackles science on the silver screen—from stoically serious blockbusters to campy cult classics. Museum experts put movies under the microscope to determine what filmmakers got right and what is better classified as “creative license.”

Join us Saturday, February 27 at Capitol Theatre for Balto. Based on the true story of a team of sled dogs that braved a terrible storm to bring life-saving medicine to the children of Nome, Alaska in the midst of a terrible diphtheria outbreak. Introduction and post-film discussion with Lee Gambol, Museum Educator, Distance Learning Coordinator and Balto expert.

Museum and Cleveland Cinemas Marquee Rewards members can purchase discount tickets for $5 at the theatre box office. Regular admission tickets are $7.50. Please note: Museum members must present their membership card at the theatre box office to receive the member rate.
