Robin Stone (Full Band Show) @ The Bevy says
The Bevy In Birdtown is proud to host singer/songwriter Robin Stone, will be doing a full band show on Saturday, August 29th. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. with special guests, “CatchtheChase” opening. Tickets are $8/advance, $10 day of show with advanced tickets available online or at our Gastropub.

Robin Stone, who has won awards for “Best Female Vocalist” in the Cleveland Scene Magazine Readers Poll, overcame a rare illness that almost took her voice away several years ago and went on to record her best effort to date – titled “Bad Girl”, which helped to re-define her as an artist and songwriter. On that record, she explored the R&B, Neo-Soul, Blues, and Smooth Jazz genres, all of which complemented her silky smooth voice. She then got deeply involved with the Pet Rescue organization, helping to save abused animals, and wrote a gripping song about the experience, titled “Home” which will be released later this year. She’s also started back to work on the next album, which she says will have more of a roots-rock sound than the Bad Girl CD.

"CatchTheChase" is a Pop/Rock/Country duo composed of brother and sister, Daniel Braiden and Rachel Kieran. Haling from Cleveland, Ohio – Rachel and Daniel have been playing together since their late teens. According to Kieran, “One day we picked up the guitar and tried to sing
together and our voices just clicked.” Indeed! With what started off as something to do to pass the time, music quickly became a creative outlet for the duo. Soon not only were they perfecting well known Pop and Country covers, but they were writing their own as well. Following the discovery of these hidden talents, CatchTheChase was formed. Years later, they most notably took first place in the LIVE Music Showcase at the House of Blues in May 2014 and signed with BAM Entertainment for booking in the spring of 2015. With their catchy original music, heartfelt lyrics, and solid harmonies, CatchTheChase can be sure to be around for many years to come. They are currently in the studio working on their first album.
