Wishbone Ash
Rock | London England

Formed in 1969, Wishbone Ash has more than 20 original studio recordings and several live albums to their credit. The group has appeared at all the major music festivals and enjoys a history with some of the world's classic music labels, Universal and Atlantic Records.

Back in the day, Wishbone Ash cut their teeth on the US stadium circuit first opening for The Who. Once they began headlining in the States, Wishbone's opening acts included Springsteen, Kiss and Aerosmith.

Citing Wishbone Ash as an influence on their style, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Southern Rock outfits like Lynyrd Skynyrd and, more recently, heavyweights like Opeth and some of the guitar-based Indie/ Alternative bands, have all taken a little something from the legendary twin-guitar approach of Wishbone Ash. Truly, there is no other rock band on the planet that has done more with the twin guitar concept than the Ash.

Glenn Schwartz, Gene Schwartz & Dennis Chandler Together Again

At Cleveland's "Beachland Ballroom & Tavern" it is always a surprise what can happen. Or is it when these musicians play? Why say that? One never knows who will be in the audience... or... who will be onstage... playing what. It's the Schwartz Brothers, In Deed, so to speak. For example.. back on on Sept. 20, 2012... When it was announced by Beachland owner Cindy Barber that "Glen Schwartz decided to sit this one out", (due to fingers swollen by arthritis) she suggested that "the Schwartz Brothers Band should still do the gigs, as a trio!" "Not a problem", said SBB bassist Gene.

Why? Because both Gene Schwartz and keyboardist Dennis Chandler had performed many times together before this current chapter of "Glenn & Den Together Again" (as the Schwartz Brothers Band gigs have been called). And Den absolutley loves ace drummer Paul O'Brien's playing.

Think of it.. they all played together one time or another with Robert Lockwood's band aka Robert "Jr" Lockwood.
