Celebrating creative crossovers between Croatia and neighbouring Italy, ‘On the Shores of the Adriatic Sea, the Painting of Landscape between the Ottocento and the Novocento’ spotlights nineteenth-century paintings from the Adriatic and the Italian Peninsula. In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb, the exhibition spans Italian fin-de-siècle painters such as G. Fattori, G. Ciardi, P. Fragiacomo, G. Cadorin, T. Signorini and Croatian artists F. Quiquerez, N. Mašić and V. Bukovac.
