Žedno uho

One to watch, 'Thirsty Ear' was opened winter 2012 by Mate Škugor, legendary alternative gig promoter and co-founder of the Terraneo music festival. Having found a home in the tunnel-like basements of the Klovićevi dvori art gallery, the Ear was closed down by order of the organisers of the Klovićevi dvori's blockbuster Picasso exhibition – on the grounds that the vintage daubs would be damaged by the vibrations coming up from below. It is expected to reopen in the autumn: in the meantime, Žedno Uho are organising concerts in other venues around town.
