Zagreb City Hotels has confirmed that it will be adding two brand new Hilton hotels to its portfolio in the new year, at a cost of ten million euros. Already home to DoubleTree, the two new Hiltons will be pitched towards an upmarket audience. Canopy, the company's 12th lifestyle brand opened in Iceland last year. It is set to arrive at the Branimir Centre sometime in 2018. Hilton Garden Inn will open in 2019, and will be located on Radnička street. As the second location in Europe to get a Canopy hotel by Hilton, the company Director is optimistic about the future of Zagreb’s hotel sector.
'With regards to the three mentioned hotels: DoubleTree by Hilton, Canopy by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn, we are focused on three different market niches, the total capacity of approximately 460 rooms will be highly marketed. Canopy and Garden Inn, like Doubletree at the time, are very innovative in their concept, market-accepted and are therefore successful in business. It is certain that by entering this market, we will improve the hotel industry not only in Zagreb but also in Croatia' Josipa Jutt Ferlan, Zagreb City Hotels Director said.
