Marvel at music in Šibenik at the annual Dalmatian Chanson Evenings

Dalmatian Chanson Evenings are held each summer in stunning Šibenik. This year, the event will be held from August 20 to 21 in the Republic of Croatia Square - in front of the UNESCO-protected Cathedral of St. James.

Guests can expect live solo, orchestra, klapa, and choir performances, alongside music by the top Croatian songwriters and composers.

Regular festival klapa performers are Klapa Cambi, Šibenik, Maslina, Kumpanji, Cesarice, Nostalgija, Fortica, and Teuta, among others. Singer-songwriters and chansonniers include Arsen Dedić, Kemal Monteno, Tedi Spalato, Gibonni, Đani Maršan, Meri Cetinić, and more. Recurring soloists include Vice Vukov, Radojka Šverko, Gabi Novak, Ibrica Jusić, Ivo Pattiera, and Dean Dvornik.

The festival awards are awarded by six Croatian radio stations, an expert jury, and the audience for Most Performed Chanson, Best Debut, Best Lyrics, Best Interpretation, Best Songwriting, Best Chanson, and an Audience Award.
