The tumultuous year of 2020 is wrapping up. The world has collectively struggled with a pandemic for months. Croatia was hit by two terrible earthquakes, one of which came at the tail end of 2020, on December 29.
But the strength of love and human solidarity shine through, amid the tragedies. Community support following the recent earthquake, for example, is unparalleled.
So in the upcoming year, we have no choice but to focus on the good, help each other when we can, and never to forget those we have lost.
Let's head into 2021 with not only optimism and hope - but the drive to take initiative and make it a great year, too.
