Wade past the many plastic-looking venues clustered about Medulin harbour and settle in the 25-year-old Vanga for top-notch white fish and unexpected treats such as sole in creamy shrimp sauce. For meat eaters, there’s roasted veal in a spicy red sauce and roasted pork wallowing in Mediterranean herbs. Owner Gino Šverko lets out rooms in the pension above.
