IKS International Festival of Contemporary Theatre

When young and tallented dancer, choreographer and theatrical promotor Nela Sisarić started this festival a few years ago, it was a gathering of avant-guard theatre and dance writers. But her efforts in staging increasingly more high-profile attractions has put the IKS Festival on the map. And deservedly so. Last year she created a sensation by bringing legendary alternative band Laibach to the Croatian National Theatre.
