The August sun heightens Dubrovnik's beauty, and its cityscape becomes a monumental stage. The Summer Festival has been its annual highlight for 67 years, and it's showing no signs of tiring: some of the world's finest orchestras and classical musicians will play amid the medieval walls this year, and literature fans will lap up the line-up of plays and poetry readings. Oh, and there's also a little exhibition by Pablo Picasso. Here are ten wonderful things to do in Dubrovnik this month.
