Irish Film Institute Bar review Rate it

The IFI Bar occupies the same building as an art-house cinema. It's a sympathetic renovation of the old 17th-century Quaker meeting house, with an extended bar that encloses a large bright glass-roofed courtyard. There's also an outdoor beer garden popular with smokers. It has a significant gay and lesbian presence, and the institute is home to GAZE: Dublin International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, a five-day cinematic event that takes place the first weekend of every August and is now in its 17th year.
