Bollywood movies regularly crack the box-office top ten in the UK, and there are several cinemas in London and elsewhere in the UK that show nothing but Hindi movies (as well as other Indian, Pakistani and Sri Lankan movies). Canadian-Indian real-life porn star Sunny Leone, now making waves in Bollywood, plays a triple role in this largely Rajasthan-set erotic action drama. Leone’s saucy dance number ‘Desi Look’ is already at the top of the video music charts.

Bollywood mega-god Amitabh Bachchan heads the cast in this Kolkata-set family comedy drama. The current number one actress Deepika Padukone plays his daughter with Irrfan Khan as her unconventional love interest.

Based on the bestseller ‘Mumbai Fables’ by Indian author Gyan Prakash, director Anurag Kashyap’s (‘Gangs of Wasseypur’) latest noir thriller is set in 1960s Bombay (now Mumbai). A-lister Ranbir Kapoor is Johnny, a boxer who falls for Rosie (Anushka Sharma), an aspiring jazz singer in an intense love story set against the backdrop of a fast-changing ‘maximum city’.

This inevitable sequel welcomes back some of the original cast (including Anil Kapoor) from the 2007 blockbuster 'Welcome'. If you find the idea of criminal gangsters acting goofy funny, then this promised crude masala comedy may be the one for you.
