Time Out says

Named after a Scottish town and someone prone to extravagant glorification (a suck-up, in common parlance), The Lauder's is pretty deserving of high praise. Maybe it's the menu, packed with breakfast dishes, grills and classic pub scran like a steak and Guinness pie. Perhaps it's what they've got on tap, a pint, cocktail or soft drink for every taste. It could, instead, be down to the big game banter, thanks to their big screens, so you never miss a minute. Whatever it is, it's working a treat.
