Glasgow is to host beer, food and music festival Craft Beer Rising for the second time this September.

The event, hosted in collaboration with Drygate, will take place across three sessions on Friday September 4 and Saturday September 5. Up to 150 beers will be on offer from 30 local and international breweries including Williams Bros, Harviestoun, Innis & Gunn, West, Stewart Brewing, Oakham Ales, Wooha, Belhaven and Drygate.

Street food inspired by seasonal Scottish produce such as cheese, smoked salmon and seaweed will also be provided by Rabbie's Highland Bothy.

Daniel Rowntree, Craft Beer Rising's founder, says the previous Glasgow event was their fastest ever selling festival to date.

‘What this tells us is that there is an incredible appetite for craft beer in Scotland and opportunities where lots of different types of people – from adventurous foodies to craft beer novices - can come together, share experiences and get involved,’ he adds.

Craft Beer Rising, September 4–5, Drygate Brewery, 85 Drygate, Glasgow. Tickets £12.
