Glasgow’s Merchant City is to become the first of a new generation of bar from BrewDog, the Aberdeen-based brewers have revealed.

The first ever DogHouse will feature a full restaurant, a BrewDog bar and a BottleDog outlet – offering everything they do in a single location for the first time.

Initial plans for the site on the corner of Hutcheson and Garth Streets were first announced earlier this year, with BrewDog promising it’d be much more food-focused than their existing Glasgow bar.

DogHouse will contain the group’s third BottleDog outlet - following on from the original site near King’s Cross in London and a location in Edinburgh which is set to open shortly.

BrewDog said although it’s taken a while to get all the elements of the DogHouse over the line, when it opens it’ll prove that it’s been worth the wait.
