Jonnie Common, Honeyblood and KLOË are among the homegrown acts gracing the BBC Introducing stage at BBC at the Quay 2015, a free weekend of events following last year's inaugural Commonwealth Games-inspired weekender. The fest will take place in and around BBC Scotland's headquarters at Pacific Quay from Thursday June 4-Sunday June 7 and feature live broadcasts from Janice Forsyth, Ken Bruce and The One Show; outdoor film screenings in collaboration with Glasgow Film Theatre; and special live music sessions with Deacon Blue's Ricky Ross, singer-songwriter Roddy Hart and a BBC Radio Scotland showcase featuring The Supernaturals, Justin Currie and Donovan.

Tickets for all of the above have to be applied for in advance on the BBC at the Quay website; however, the event that's grabbed our attention is the unticketed BBC Introducing outdoor stage on Sunday June 7, which features a line-up of some of the best rising artists in the country. Have a listen to them below.

Honeyblood
Garage-pop duo whose lo-fi slacker vibe follows on from the likes of The Breeders and Pixies (Kim Deal is their patron saint, basically).

Jonnie Common
Folktronica singer-songwriter with a neat line in witty, word-association lyrics and deadpan stage patter.

KLOË
Sparkling synth-pop chanteuse set to steal Chvrches' crown as Glasgow's hottest electronica export.

Kobi Onyame
Ghana-born, Glasgow-based hip hop artist who's been one of the figureheads of Scottish rap alongside Young Fathers, Stanley Odd and Hector Bizerk.

Man of Moon
Low-key guitar-and-drums duo whose mournful, minimal hooks and machine-precise drum loops recall The xx.

Sorren Maclean
Indie-folk singer-songwriter from the Isle of Mull whose talent has already earned him friends and collaborators such as Mull Historical Society's Colin MacIntyre and Idlewild's Roddy Woomble.

United Fruit
Pack leaders of Scotland's underground alt.rock movement (alongside the likes of Paws) who, at their most raw and ferocious, bring to mind 'Vertigo of Bliss'-era Biffy Clyro or even the mighty At The Drive-In.

Ubre Blanca
Taking their name from a bovine emblem of the Cuban revolution, this synth-and-drums duo count Giorgio Moroder, John Carpenter, Kraftwerk and horror-prog lords Goblin among their influences.

BBC at the Quay, Pacific Quay, Thursday June 4-Sunday June 7. See BBC at the Quay for more info.
