Reginald D Hunter, Ardal O’Hanlon and more confirmed for Glasgow International Comedy Festival

Reginald D Hunter, Ardal O’Hanlon, Richard Herring and Bridget Christie have been confirmed as some of the headline acts at next year’s Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Taking over Glasgow March 10-27, the festival is returning for its 14th year and will feature more than 420 shows across 40 venues. Stand-up, panel discussions, theatre shows, and kids’ comedy are all among the line-up, with events taking place every day of the festival.

The acts announced so far include Reginald D Hunter, Paul Merton, Ardal O'Hanlon, Julian Clary, Rob Delaney, Jenny Eclair, Bridget Christie, Russell Kane, Mark Watson, Richard Herring, Romesh Ranganathan, Shappi Khorsandi, Mark Steel, Paul Foot and Paul Sinha.

Homegrown stars Des Clarke, Daniel Sloss, Craig Hill, Mark Nelson, Janey Godley and Jerry Sadowitz will also take part alongside international acts Sarah Franken, Greg Proops and Adam Hills, along with the popular American Stands Up! showcase introducing some of the newer comics working in the US.

The full programme is to be launched at The Stand on Wednesday January 13.
