Mismatched cups, plates with random ornaments and old fashioned bits of furniture - it must be the cosy tea rooms at The Butterfly and The Pig. Whilst catching up with friends, treat yourself to some yummy homemade cakes, sandwiches made on their freshly baked daily bread and their different varieties of tea infusions... or the odd glass of bubbly if you prefer. The laidback/homely one – The Hidden Lane Tearoom
Keep your eyes peeled - if you wander too far along the road, you may miss the entrance for this little treasure. This cute little tearoom is the perfect spot for catching up with friends on a lazy afternoon. From their range of homemade cakes and bakes, there are also over 30 loose leaf teas to choose from and even a children’s version if bringing little ones along. They also offer BYOB with a very low corkage charge.
