Zombies to invade the streets of Glasgow

Watch out Glasgow – the city will soon be taken over by hordes of the living dead!

Urban chase game 2.8 Hours Later will be coming to Glasgow in June, allowing participants to pit themselves against zombies and try to stay alive.

The 2015 game, ‘Ruin’, follows on from last year’s ‘Survival’ and the story begins with a rumoured vial found in the hands of a dying scientist. This leads the survivors on the hunt for mysterious vials that could contain a cure for the zombie disease. The plot thickens to uncover clues behind the scientist, a criminal conspiracy and the truth of what the vials really contain.

Characters within the game are played by actors, and players who are caught by the zombies will be marked with invisible ink to signify their infection.

2.8 Hours Later, developed by Slingshot, is now in its sixth year and players can sign up either as an individual or as a team. Tickets start from £38.

If you’re more interested in doing the chasing rather than being chased, volunteers are also being sought for Zombie School. You’ll receive professional training, make up and costumes so you’re ready to take on the humans on the big night.

2.8 Hours Later, Glasgow, June 11-13, June 19-20.
