We all know the excitement of Bonfire Night (or Guy Fawke's Night, Fireworks Night or whatever you want to call it): the fizz of a sparkler, the crackle of burning logs, the ever-so-sensible advice not to wear shell-suits. It doesn't hurt that it's in that magical wintry period post-Halloween and pre-Christmas either.
