H Hawkline and Gwenno

Two new Welsh wonders take to the road together. Enigmatic alt-pop singer-songwriter H. Hawkline is an affiliate of Cate Le Bon and Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys, and released his debut album proper ‘In The Pink of Condition’ in February. Gwenno used to be a member of indie-pop girl-group The Pipettes and now ploughs a solo furrow of cosmic synthy krautrock, as found on her excellent debut album ‘Y Dydd Olaf’.
