The Bay Tree has been around for decades and now bills itself as a Mediterranean venue, offering everything from bacon rolls at breakfast time to assorted meze, Persian-style lamb tikka skewers or vegetarian lasagne later on. It café-like rather than haute but you can BYOB and there’s no corkage charge.
