Stan's Studio

The brainchild of Aberdeen-educated artist and musician Sarah J Stanley, Stan's Studio is 'Glasgow's PWYW cafe' - ie you pay what you want. The shop, cafe and events space works on the theory that you, as a decent human being, will pay whatever you think you're buying is worth (though there is a suggested price alongside each to give you a hint). Home-made ginger ale, coffee blended in-house, cakes, cookies, soups, pies - they've all been sold on the premises in the past, but your best bet is just to go along and see what's there on the day (and keep an eye on Stan's twitter feed for details of last-minute closures).
