For a classic Currywurst fix, Hamburgers swear by Imbiss bei Schorsch, a minute, cult locale in the St.Pauli district. Little more than a hole-in-the-wall, it makes up for its limited space (and almost non-existent seating) with big, sizzling spicy sausage flavours and its hearty in-house potato salad, which replaces the more common Currywurst accompaniment of chips.
Time Out tip: Less sure about the spice? Then simply order yourself the Bratwurst (fried sausage).
