Competition is strong, but many Hamburgers insist that Köz Urfa does simply the best Turkish food in town. The bustling and brightly-lit neighbourhood joint right by Hamburg-Altona station delivers huge portions and succulent flavours, with fast, friendly service. You can take your food to go, or sit down and settle into a vast Döner Teller (platter), complete with rice, salad, and veggies. There’s also a good run of vegetarian dishes.
