Cana Bilir-Meier, Deniz Gül and Seçil Yersel recreate late art historian and cultural theorist Aby Warburg’s unfinished last project to map the “afterlife of antiquity,” the Mnemosyne Atlas: a visual encyclopedia consisting of 40 wooden panels covered with nearly 1,000 pictures from books, magazines and other printed sources.
