Constructed

Zeynep Kayan gives in to the urge to escape the two-dimensional nature of photographs by experimenting with the surface of images. Through her process of recapturing the same moment again and again, the artist transposes the “old and familiar” image into a “new and unfamiliar” surrounding to transform the physical space into an analogue assemblage.
