Hayal Meyal

Based in New York and Istanbul, Elif Uras is an artist whose recent works have focused on the complicated relationship between Western modernity and Eastern culture and art. Her third solo show in Istanbul features paintings and sculptures that deal with the idea of female agency in contemporary society through reproductive, domestic and wage labor.
