Jameel Prize 4 exhibition

The Pera Museum has been generating plenty of buzz in the international art scene as the setting for the Jameel Prize 4 exhibition. Organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in partnership with Art Jameel, the Jameel Prize is a biennial international award for contemporary art and design inspired by Islamic tradition. This is the first time the Prize was launched at an external venue, marking the beginning of a new schedule whereby the exhibition will rotate between the V&A and guest venues around the world. The Jameel Prize 4 exhibition features multidisciplinary works by 11 participants (shortlisted from among over 280 nominations), including Turkish artists CANAN and Cevdet Erek.
