In his latest series, Sidar Baki interrupts the bleak aesthetic of ruins with a child’s perspective. By placing child figures within harsh, grey, and desolate spaces, he transforms the entire meaning of the setting. These children aren’t just playing—they reclaim the space, remember it, reshape it, and rebuild it. In places abandoned by adults, they remain—small in size but a vital, completing force.
The exhibition is on view at C.A.M. Gallery from September 18 to October 31.
