Dublin’s 12 Points Festival brings together cutting-edge artists each February, and has featured three groups in the festival programme: Kaja Draksler Acropolis Quintet, Donkey Monkeyand Elifantree. The Quintet marries Romanian, Turkish and Italian traditional music with electro-acoustic vibes; Donkey Monkey is French pianist eve Risser and Japanese drummer Yuko Oshima; and the Finnish trio Elifantree, made up of Anni Elif Egecioğlu, Pauli Lyytinen and Tatu Rönkkö, fuses pop, jazz and vocal improvisation with a cerebral twist.
