Chick Corea & Stanley Clarke Duet: The Songs of Return to Forever

Two legendary names in Jazz, American pianist Chick Corea and bass guitarist Stanley Clarke, will perform on Tuesday, July 8th as part of the IKSV Istanbul Jazz Festival. As arbiters of original straight-ahead jazz, they are institutions in that genre. Chick Corea was a member of Miles Davis' band in the 1960s, and formed the band Return to Forever in the 1970s. Along with Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett, he's been described as one of the best and most influential jazz musicians of the post-Coltrane era. Stanley Clarke is a longtime member of Return to Forever, known for his idiosyncratic technique that produces and unusually percussive bass style.
