This young indie-folk band, led by singer Elena Tonra (vocals, guitar) and featuring Igor Haefeli (guitar) and Remi Aguilella (percussion), plays music that is hard to resist. Their latest album, ‘If You Leave’, is their most successful blending to date of a softly tuned guitar, minimalist drumming and Elena’s fragile yet beautiful voice singing lyrics that express doubts, fears and insecurities. While gloomy, their music is touching, with a downbeat melancholy that is unmatched today.
