Time Out says

Esperanza Spalding is on the top of the list of exciting new talents, as this young bassisst captured a Grammy in 2011 for Best New Artist - the first time a jazz musician has won this award. She only relatively recently emerged on the scene as a 'triple threat': a crack bass player, a singer and a composer. She plays with her 12-piece band, Radio Music Society. Opening for her is the Echo Jazz Award winner for 2011, singer Lyambiko, who was pronounced by the Boston Globe as 'the most promising vocalist jazz has seen in a long, long time'. She's set to be accompanied by pianist Marque Lowenthal, bassisst Robin Draganic and drummer Heinrish Koebberling.
