Time Out says

The British band Tunng has been blending electronic and folk music since their first album in 2005, titled 'Mother's Daughter and Other Songs'. They're known for their juxtaposition of genres and their use of strange instruments, such as sea shells. The group has a total of five albums, and released the latest addition to their discography, 'Turbines', last year. To see some sophisticated folktronica, head to Salon IKSV on Friday.
