Virtuoso: Hilary Hahn-Cory Smythe

One of the most sought-after classical musicians of our time thanks to her technique and interpretations, the 33-year-old Hilary Hahn has already won a slew of prestigious awards, including two Grammys. A musician with 12 albums released by Deutsche Grammophon and Sony, as well as three DVDs and one Oscar-nominated movie soundtrack, Hahn’s sentiment towards contemporary music is best exemplified by ‘In 27 Pieces: The Hilary Hahn Encores’, a unique project that features short pieces for the violin and piano created by over two dozen composers. Hahn will be joined by pianist Cory Smythe.
