Those hunting for Turkish bears and other earthy sorts will likely find the trip to Istanbul’s Aksaray district worth the trouble. Those types frequent this restaurant-bar not only for the cheap beer and live music but also for the prospect of going home with somebody into their kind. One thing to ‘bear’ in mind, though: Most of these chaps don’t speak any language other than Turkish and it can be difficult to go beyond discreet flirting in the bar.
